Syrinx Music Publishing Agreement

Syrinx Music works to provide composers and arrangers a fair, transparent, and profitable way of selling their music to customers through our website.

Composers/Arrangers

  1. As a composer or arranger, you agree to these basic terms for each product that you sell on the Syrinx Music website
  2. You fully own the copyright of the music you submit and have the rights to sell it on Syrinx Music's website.
  3. You Can provide Syrinx music with a high-resolution PDF files of the works submitted.
  4. You have the flexibility and freedom, understanding that:
  • You are not required to sell your music exclusively on Syrinx Music's website.
  • You may ask Syrinx Music to discontinue publishing your music at any time.
  • You may switch to another publisher or website at any time
  1. You will earn 60(Sixty) percent of the selling price of your work (after GST of 10% is deducted) payable to you quarterly after a tax invoice is received by us. We will send you a quarterly breakdown of any sales.
  2. Each Piece of music downloaded by our customers will have the date of purchase and the customers name identified on their download.

 

Syrinx Music

As a publisher, we have the following basic rights and responsibilities.

  1. Syrinx Music determines the products offered on our website and maintains the right to accept or reject any work submitted.
  2. Syrinx Music in conjunction with the composer/arranger to determine the selling price of all products and may offer promotional discounts or sales from time to time.
  3. Syrinx Music may discontinue listing any product at any time.
  4. Syrinx Music is not liable for copyright infringement for submitted works, will operate in a lawful manner, and will work with authorities in identifying anyone who misrepresents copyright ownership.
  5. Syrinx Music earns 40 (forty) percent of the selling price of all listed works (After GST of 10% is deducted).
