‘Leprechaun’ for flute and piano is an arrangement by the composer of a movement from ‘Mythical Creatures’, a chamber music suite for voice, wind quintet and piano composed in 2011 and released by Navona Records in 2023. Inspired by traditional Irish music, the piece is a bouncy and light-hearted portrait of a spritely leprechaun.
Great fun to learn and perform by flutists of all ages.
