Description
Calling all you SINNERS!!!!! This could be the answer to all your saxophone ensemble repertoire prayers. ‘Brother. Sister. We Got Soul.’ is a Gospel inspired barn-stormer that will have your audience clapping their hands, stomping their feet and maybe a couple of them looking for forgiveness, as they know they did something naughty – and then blamed the dog!!!!
‘Brother. Sister. We Got Soul.’ is a spotlight for either your Alto 1 player, or your Tenor Sax player (who is tired of playing the inside/low part of all the other bands parts they have), or both of them! It is a two part piece that starts with the slow, soulful introduction, then at bar 36 bursts into life and doesn’t stop until the final cadenza section by which time the audience, and maybe some band members, will be passing around the holy water.
Soulful. Uplifting. Joyful. ‘Brother. Sister. We Got Soul.’ is a must for your saxophone ensemble repertoire. You’ll love it. The players will love it. The audience will love it. Amen.
NEW FEATURE:
‘Saxophones Only’ rehearsal score in addition to Conductor score
Optional downloadable Soprano and Bass sax part
Instrumentation (S)/AAAATTB(BB) +rhythm section (a rhythm section backing track audio download is included).
‘Brother. Sister. We Got Soul.’ is written for mixed ensemble, approximately grade 3 – 5/6 but of course the improve section can include players of any level.
