This is a faithful transcription for Flute Quartet (two concert flutes, alto and bass), of Puccini's hauntingly beautiful movement for string quartet – Crisantemi (Chrysanthemums). All of Puccini's very detailed articulation, dynamics and tempo indications have been reproduced, only the key has been changed to accommodate the ranges of the flutes.
