These duets are designed to encourage absolute beginners to start playing together in small ensembles. Three notes are all that are required to play the first two duets! Gradually more and more notes are added throughout the book.
In several of the duets, the titles – when spoken – fit the initial phrase. Teachers may find this a useful aid in helping pupils to learn the rhythms.
