Fluteworthy Party Pieces is a collection of 17 pieces with piano accompaniment for approximately grades 5-8. We have chosen works for their wow factor. They are fun to play and they show off virtuosity, perfect for opening a program or as encores. Styles range from baroque to modern with some folk and jazz influenced pieces. Composers include some familiar voices of Bach, Quantz, Mozart and Rossini, historical female composers - Anna Bonn and Fanny Mendelssohn, flute favorites Kohler and Nicholson and new works by our very own Christine Draeger, and First Nations composer Brenda Gifford. We do hope and you and your fans enjoy this collection!
